I was in an accident about a month back and after receiving my car back from the collision shop my antilock light will come on after about a mile of driving. When I first start off my brake pedal will pulsate until the antilock light comes on, then the pulsating goes away. I bled my brakes today along with install some stainless steel brake lines in hopes that that would solve the issue, but no such luck. I checked the ABS line on the side where the collision happened and didn't see any frayed or separated cables. Can anybody else provide possible solutions?

Wow, that's strange...

Probably a stupid question but did you check the fluid level and your pads?

Sounds like the sensor may be damaged or caked up with dust.

I agree. I think the sensor is damaged. They are pretty fragile & don't have to show any physical dammage to be broken. Find someone with a scan tool that will read body codes. The fault code should tell you exactly which sensor or point to something else. Good luck.

I did check the fluid level while I was bleeding my brakes today and my pads are fairly new.

Is that the sensor that is attached to the brake calipers?

Does Scantech read body codes?

It's the wheel speed sensor attached to the hub

I don't know about Scantech but I have a ScangaugeII & it wont. It only reads CEL codes.

Yeah, Scantech does the same thing. I'm just not sure if it reads body codes or not.

Well it was determined that it was the driver's side rear axle that was the culprit. One of the teeth on the spline had broken off due to my accident. I've ordered a replacement and hopefully that will also take care of my weird vibration.
