KBB says:

$3,890
Fair
$3,440
I actually won it for 3,050 but "reserve" was not met. This is for my wife to drive, while I continue to pay off my EVO. He gave me a sale price of 4800, and I am not sure. It looks clean, and all others seem to ask for over 8k. Thanks my EVOA peeps.

I'd tell him 4k and be done with it. It seems really clean though, but personally I'd have to see the car in person 1st.

I agree with Tripp. $4k is fair. I wouldn't go much higher. It does look good for it's age.

I'm not a fan of buying cars on eBay unless you see it first. I won a Mustang a few years back that looked nice & the final price was a bit higher than I wanted to spend but I really wanted it. I'm just glad I decided to drive to Louisiana & pick it up rather than having it shipped. The $3k paint job was done in someones back yard. & the car was barely put together good enough to test drive. It looked great in pictures but was far from what was described. I didn't pay a penny & left without it. That car looks to be fairly stock so many of the issues I had probrobly wouldn't be an issue. I'm just gun shy of cars on eBay now. Here's apic of the Mustang I was gonna get & if it was as nice in person as the pics & description then I would have been a very happy camper.

Thanks ALL that commented and even those who looked and closed the thread. ;) I decided to walk . He came back with some BS line about , "all the money into, tranny, new strus, blah blah." He even said , it was worth 6500. I told him, not to sound like a snob, but i drive an EVO, and I ran this by my EVO peeps. The HKS BOV is VTA, and even though its an auto, its not good for a car with a maf. Plus the TT was zip tied to the steering wheel. All easy fixes, but his un-accomandating attitude to drop the price.
IMO, he was dumb. I won the bidding @ 3050 bidding on the LAST day. The economy is in the dumps. Some money is better than no money.
Thanks again guys, you just cemented what I was feeling already.

Yeah it does look like a clean car and that he took care of it. but i kinda feel the same way about buying a car on ebay but at the same time the dude didn't look like he was trying to hide anything at all so that could be a plus. but 4800 is steep for the age but i would give 3800 or 4

I really think you did the right thing. Your money goes further to buy a used car, now that there aren't as many buyers(with money) in the market.
