So I am curious how many of us Evo owners still have our factory wing on and which of us have taken it off to rock the wingless look... Or if you have a different wing on. Also explain your reasoning of choice! :D

I have the Rexpeed type one color matched. I felt it added an more 'upscale' look to it. Then I brought back a racers look with the CF added.Got tired of the cops , and my OLD ass co-workers calling my car the batmobile.

I'm rockin the wingless look 4 sure! Not only does removing the wing- gives the car a stealthy apperance & refine overall feel. But I usually always and I mean always --putting the wing back on simply because the car looks nude without it.

-I'm noticing that people are more aggressive on the road with me without my wing 80% of the time

- versus- "The winged look":

The Red Sea. I mean 'traffic' always moves aside with my wing installed.

I have debated taking mine off. I can't decide. To me, it just doesn't look like an Evo without it. Although, that's not necessarily a bad thing considering ricers and cops.

Had mine removed within two weeks of getting the car. The constant jokes about my age certainly did not help, but I also think the way it looks without the wing and any badges leaves people wondering what the hell just went screaming past them.

+1, although it took me about 9 months to go wingless. The first thing I did was de-badge

Wingless FTW, although I love the look with the wing. It would just be nice to switch it up everynow and then.

My wing has been on from the jump. I do need to take it off and get it re-cleared and I'll rock wingless until I get the wing back, but I do like the wing, for sure....

Wingless for street use in most cases. I have the Rexpeed carbon spoiler on mine because it doesn't look like a bench seat plus the carbon looks tits.

You've seen my wing so i'm sure you understand where i'm coming from. also i have a friend that can reclear your deck for pretty cheap and do it right!!!! let me know if your interested!

I've had a few decent offers and now I've got an offer for trade with an E55 AMG or a built Viper. I'm waiting to see the pics. I might just keep it for a while and run it at Import Showdown. It's hard to part with a car like this.

I can only imagine the hard part of parting with your car. Mines stuck with me for life.I will just see other cars on the side. :)

and the side skjirt... other than that it looks same.

its a fendermod where you can run wider tires.

look at the front it has a gap.

I was looking at buying that fender mod kit from Evo Dave yesterday. How funny
Honestly just my advice if your running anything around +22 offset or up. I would just recommend rolling and doing a slight pull to the front/rear fenders. I was just too crazy going +15 as the rp-f1 only came in +15,+38, and +45 in the 18x9.5 wheel set-up... The reason why i also did the fender mod was because i pulled, cut, and rolled my own custom flare fenders in the rear so it matches all around. But as my evo sits, i have no rubbing issues what so ever with 255 tires and +15 offset. i hope this helps tho;)
