So I get a call from my buddy Sam. He's incredibly well to do, but down to earth guy with a killer wide body STi w/ 2.65 stroker, Cossie heads, 35/106 turbo, etc. His parents are obviously fairly well to do as his mom has a brand new $100k dollar Audi A8. I went to check out the A8 as his mom had run the side of the car against a wooden picnic table and he wanted it fixed before his Dad could see it. I do a test area and he's more than pleased with the results and gives me the job right there and then! It's going to be a simple single step polish and clean up with the exception of the areas that were rubbed by the table and shouldn't take me more than 5-6 hours to do (roughly $150-$180), but they are wanting to give me $200 dollars for this simple job. I told him I couldn't take it as thats not even what it would cost for me to do a regular customers car and he just said "consider it the biggest tip you've ever received." Not only that, but I'm also going to be doing a full detail on his Dads Range Rover within the next few weeks as well. This is just an awesome opportunity for me as he's told me they have some very rich friends as well that are tired of getting screwed over by detailers as well as this is the most expensive car I've ever detailed. So hope for the best for me guys as I could really use this kind of commission and clientèle
