So you all know about the rediculous wait I have had on my FP Green turbo. We are now at 11 weeks and amazingly enough, that is not my main concern. Oh, and I they are also out of the o2 housing that I ordered, which I also need, but once again, not my main concern. When I had my car at Forged last week, they noticed that there was fluid below my transfer case. Upon closer inspection it was pointed out that the fluid was fresh, and was most likely coming from my TC. It is not showing any signs of going out, but it is leaking fluid, which is the 1st step. Next week I will be dropping my car off to have the TC sent out to Sheppard. Overall cost will end up being upwards of $1200 after labor cost. I honestly dont really have the money for this right now, so this is an absolute nightmare. Im not really sure things could get much worse, if anyone knows of any high paying job openings give me a call, Im not making much at my current job anymore.

Omg Ryan?! Seems like one thing after another. If it makes you feel any better I am right there with ya. This past monday my wife's car threw a rod through the block of her '04 mazda 6. This happened after only driving it about 20 miles after having the oil changed at Pep Boys. I am fighting with them about their liability in the matter. Sucks...

Brett, is your wife's car out of its factory warranty, that should be covered under the powertrain warranty, Pep Boys shouldn't be at fault unless they didn't put any oil back in or left the drain plug off the car, but there is no
way a 04 year model should be throwing a rod

Ryan- that just sucks but at least ur be getting a Shep transfer case

I agree Alan-it really should be covered by Mazda. It's got 70k miles and is now into the extended warranty. However, since Pep Boys touched it last, Mazda said that they are not responsible. Pep Boys called yesterday and said they were gonna pay Mazda to do a "teardown" and inspect the engine. I don't care who pays for it, but someone is!

Brett that really sucks man... I know with all your hardships right now this is the last thing you need.

Ryan... Man... I really gotta thank you even though your going through hell. I now know not to get anything through Buschur unless they have it in stock and ready to ship. Is there anyway you can cancel your order for the turbo and use it for the tcase?

I dont want to cancel my order. I was told that I will be getting the next available turbo. Of course that was 2 weeks ago, but I still am somewhat optamistic that I will receive it before the end of the year.... I hope...
