Dyno #'s!!!

I finally got dyno tuned for 91 oct by Andrew and im really pleased with the results! Starting off with my TBE, intake, MBC and Jestr tuned i made 272 whp which is around 310 to 315 on topspeeds dyno. Those are good numbers, but i was getting up to 8 counts of knock. I can no longer recommend Jestr tunings email tune. Only do it unless you are willing to make some logs and email them back to him to fix it. It just really goes to show how every car is different. Now for the results after the tune. I made 252 hp on Andrews dyno which is 289 to 293 on Topspeeds dyno. Im not bitching considering that was with 91 octane and a conservative tune according to Andrew, so im very happy and cant say enough about Andrew. Excellent guy and a great tuner! The car also feels a whole lot smoother and has a wider range of torque! Id love to go back to the mtns now since i wont have to down shift to 2nd and rocket out of every corner!

I have heard that too. You have to log some pulls and check for knock a couple of times to perfect a Jestr tune. Glad you're running great. I'll be soon enough....

^^^ That right... Ill be paying 50 cents more for shittier gas... Im not looking forward to that, but also it was 94% and 54% humidity, so its probably got another 10 hp or so when it cools down. Also he said he could probably squeak out another 10 to 20 hp if it was done on 93 oct.

Not bad numbers for 91 octane. At least now you have no knock. Your original 93 numbers were just shy of what Ed put down on that dyno. Once you get on your feet out in Reno Im sure it will be no time until you are right back up there.
