Good Morning Atlanta EVO Fans:
MVP Track Time (www.MVPTrackTime.com) is hosting it’s first annual “Flyin Turkey Trot” track weekend at Road Atlanta November 21 - 22, 2009. All are welcome and invited to join us for the on-track fun.
We schedule six, 20-minute run sessions for each of the three (Novice, Intermediate and Advanced) run groups each day. We have qualified instructors available for the Novice run group.
Visit our web site for details and/or registration (on line or mail-in registration) for any of our 2009 (VIR, Blakchawk Farms, Summit Point and Watkins Glen) track events. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call me at (314) 249-3770 or e-mail Feffman@MVPTrackTime.com.
Happy Motoring and I hope to see you at Road Atlanta!

$400, that's about normal for a track event. I'll wait for the next $200 HPDE. :)

The big difference MVP offers is the scheduled six, 20-minute run sessions for each run group (Novice, Intermediate and Advancedd) each day. OH and you can sign up for a single day!

http://forums.maxima.org/images/smilies/orly.gif So $400 covers 2 days and $200 covers 1 day, correct?

I think it was $250 for 1 day and $400 for 2 day.

I may do the same, not sure yet. I'll definitely be ready to go with my track car by then.

I'd pay just to go out and see what that thing can do!

That may actually be doable for me as well. Gotta see if I can afford brakes and tires by then.

that's actually a decent price for Road Atlanta.

Shunderwunder:
Give Danny Puskar at CarboTech Brakes (www.CTBrakes.com) for great street and/or track pads. If you are looking for "R" compound track tires, Eric Frisby (www.FrisbyRaceTire.com) can help out. If you are looking for an aggressive street tire, consider the new Bridgestone (www.Bridgestone.com) RE-11
that's actually a decent price for Road Atlanta.
From what I've seen, we have about a 10%-35% less expensive entry fee then most organizations at Road Atlanta and with six run sessions daily, we offer about 33%-50% more track time.
Hope to see you all there. We like having the EVOs run with us.

You're on the right track. I'd like to get some Carbotech pads & a tire like the RE11. Unfortunately we are stll talkin a bit over a grand so if work picks up a little then I may be able to swing it. Good thing I've got acouple months to prepare. Wish me luck.

I really wanna go to this since it's the only chance I'll have at getting on a track this year. Unfortunately my build has cost me over twice the amount I had planned to spend. I won't know till the begining ov November wether I can get brakes tires and afford the track day. Either way I'm coming to watch atleast.

It should be a good place to get some high speed testing done. I'll have a good bit of track support there, so should be fun.

Looking forward to having you all run with us. I'll have my Radical SR3 there for comparison purposes. Remember "It's not a race!".

Haha, ya I know. Every car is capable of different times. I'll just be there to get some high speed testing done for the JRZ setup I am running. Overall laptime is not the main goal this time out. Does it costs any more if I want to run a 2nd car on the track the same day? It would be me driving in both cars.

I'd go if I had the money, but I don't think my Honda Fit would be the most exciting track car. :p

^Any car at it's limits is fun to drive on a track. You would be suprised. You don't have to be one of the faster cars to have a lot of fun at a track day.

BINGO! We've had everything from the prosaic (ie: Toyota Camry 4-Door) to the exotic (Ferrari F40) at our track days and I think they all had a blast.

I just may have to bring the Rx7 out for another RA track day. This looks like a good deal for the amount of track time.
