Ok, so as many of you know I ended up ordering a set of RE30s in High Metal Bronze after I decided to sell Juan my Dark Gunmetal Advan RS's which he has been wanting for quite some time. Where I love the look of the RS's, I actually think I like these more. It's obviously personal preference but I really like them. They turned out much better than I was expecting. I'm also trying out a new tire. Bridgestone Potenza RE-11s'. I can already tell a drastic improvement in grip and I havnt even broken the surface of these tires yet. These pics were taken in poor lighting infront of my apartment. I hope to get some much better pictures tomorrow. Anyways, on with the pics! Comments are welcome :)

Ya, I was surprised as well. I am still running the 255s. They don't look stretched at all. I thought it would come off a little on the stretched side, but I stuck with the 255 for clearance issues. I have no issues at all so far and am very pleased with the fitment. (previously had rolled fenders btw) Not sure if I will bump up to a 265 next time or not. I've been very pleased with the grip so far.

I like. I love that color/wheel combo...I would've bought them but I don't have volk money yet (besides I still want to go fast). At least i get to see what they looked like before I bought them.

Matt, I see what you mean on the matching, but oddly for me, that is why I like them. I thought they would look a little more bronze but darker. Hard to explain.

I like the lighter bronze like on the Cyber Evo better, but the dark bronze still looks bad ass.

Why were you surprized? Werent your last rims 18 *9.5 as well. I am sure you know someone with that size.

Exactly. Going from a 18x9 +29 to a 18x9.5 +28 sticks out 7mm further out and I thought the extra 1/2 inch would stretch the tires a bit more than it did. Very pleased with the overall outcome.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the color?

Basically, my issue with the dark bronze is that it looks like you tried to match the color of the car and failed horribly. The tone is too close to the GG. that's why I suggested a brighter bronze with a little more gold ... to avoid that.

The wheels themselves are sick, but I would rather see a black chrome on that color Evo.

Hey man, I figured there would be a few out there who were not fond of the look. I don't look at it as a failed attempt to color match, I look at it as a oddball color on a GG car. My first color preference was actually flat black, but unfortunately no black was in stock in the size i wanted and I didn't feel like waiting another 3 months for them. I have already done that twice this year =( The look is definitely not for everyone, I'm just happy I like them as much as I do. :)

They are not bad at all to be honest. I just prefer something a bit different. They are the HKS Hipermax III's not RS's. And no I don't get KWs for free, lol.

oh and i only lowball on used stuff. new stuff not so much... if the price is somewhat around what other vendor's special then i buy it.

but in this case since you know robi i thought you had a special deal going on...
