BFG R1 vs Kumho V710

Anyone have any experience with either of these?

I've been told the life of the V710 is superior to almost any other street legal R compound with very minimal sacrafice in grip, however I've been offered a very good deal on a set of R1s but know very little about it.

The R1 is a full race tire. It is good for 2 track events, not designed for street use. If you're looking for life go with another tire. They have a 40 treadwear. I used them last year at a couple track events. Great track tire. Here is a link with more info on them.

i loved my nitto NT01r

they are cheaper compared to others and great in rain as well.

Both tires are street legal and both are R compounds. I'm just curious to see which is the preferred tire based on experience alone. I know the autoX guys love the V710 and after searching and searching, I've yet to find a good review on the R1...specifically on an AWD car.
