Turbo Update

As most of you know I have decided to go with the FP Green turbo. I ordered it through Buschur Racing about 4weeks ago. I called today to find out when I should be expecting it. They said they are still waiting on shipments of the 20G to come in. There are 35 on order, I am number 6 on the list out of those. At least I am close to the top of the list. Nick, the guy I talked to on the phone said they have only been getting a couple of them in every week or two so he didnt really know how to tell me exactly when I should be able to expect mine. They originally told me 2-3 weeks. I expected about 4. I know its not Buschur's fault, but its still very frustrating. I was thinking it would come in this week for sure. I think I may go ahead and order the meth injection and the ignition system while Im waiting :D That way I will be able to install everything all at once. After that is complete I will probably be done for the summer. Oh ya, guages are expected on Friday. Just a little update.

I wish that I had a 20G coming :roll: . You really will be chirpping tires now! I really need a ride the next meet. We keep putting it off, Ryan.

Ya, I know man, Ill take you for a ride whenever you want, youll just have to go for another once I get the turbo upgrade :D After the meth injection and ignition I should be close to 450ish.

Little update:

Ignition installed last week, it runs alot smoother and we actually saw gains on the dyno of about 5whp.

I just ordered the meth injection today, it should be here late next week.

Turbo is still not here. I am REALLY hoping that it will be here next week as I really want to have it installed by the dyno day.

My goals are 400 on a dynamics dyno, but I dont know if I will hit that or not.

Im hoping for some serious power. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a great deal on the car in the past year. I figure as long as I can afford it I might aswell. Everyone has their own pace, there is no rush on modding. :)

Methanol injection arrived today, now I just need the turbo to get here. Im hoping for next week, but honestly I have no idea when it is expected now.

So you got the meth kit?! Great! Now whenever you get the turbo on there you can really turn out some serious numbers on the rollers.

You'll be laying some fire on the pavement real soon!! Just be careful of 88mph...

Thats what Im hoping for, I am hoping the turbo will be here sometime next week, but the way things have been going its highly doubtful, they have been telling me 1more week for the last month...
