Maybe breakway series will have more races in the states. Problem is what tracks besides Indy has the proper specs for an F1 event.

I imagine any course the Indy cars run on would probably be suitable for Formula 1 specs as well.

I dont believe it is that easy. For safety reasons the track has to be a certain width, a certain distance from the crowd to the track, certain sized paddock, and the list goes on. that is why they had to build I entire track from scratch at Indy to fill FIA's demands. IRL or Kart have some very narrow tracks for its road course venues, so I believe tracks like long beach and other city courses would be ruled out. I know they are leaving FIA mostly for political reasons so I would expect alot of the FIA's safety regulations to stay in effect with the new Championship. But if not an F1 race at Road Atlanta would be amazing!!! I had the chance to see a mid 90's F1 car run at full speed at Road Atlanta and WOW! You think the Audi R15's are fast, good God your will be amazed at an F1 cars speed!! I cannot imagine a new F1 car!! Ohh, tracks I would love to see a race at The Glen, Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca, and Road America are my top picks!!!
PS I am a huge F1 fan!!
