So i finally hooked up my aem controller today and i must say it not bad. i saw nothing but bad reviews about it for a long time untill i found a post on evolutionm talking about the proper way to ajust it, (56% boost duty cycle and 11.5 wastegate crank duty cycle). with those setting the peak boost is said to be 20.3 psi and tapers down to 19 and 18 at redline. i disconnected my factory boost solenoid when installing the aem solenoid. started her up and drove down the road for a bit. once i reached temp. i gave it 50% throddle for just a second getting a little bit of boost. i pressed the button to view peak boost and it said 147, no dashes or periods. i freaked out and put it in neutral. you see, before i hooked up the controller part of the gauge/controller it was reading in psi. now i believe that since i've connected the solinoid and ajusted the duty cycles it reads the manafold pressure and not psi. i also noticed my check engine light was on. advanced auto parts code read printed out a PO243......turbo/sup wastegate solenoid A. im guessing that would be b/c i unhooked the factory solenoid. im going to try and hook the oem solenoid back up to its wiring harness and let it sit under the hook disconnected from its plumbing, clear the code by disconnecting the battery and starting it up again. anyone got a clue what im doing wrong or whats goin on?

another thing, i'm still running boost cut without the oem solenoid connects to the intake and wastegate/turbo fittings correct?

Yea. Even though your running the boost controller Dylan you'll still hit boost cut. The computer will still see how much boost your running and will cut fuel (think they would realize its better to cut spark by now...?). As far as the code is concerned i havent really heard of a code being thrown by a manual or electronic boost controller. Make sure you have the factory boost solenoid caped off though.

Hey Dylan. I did a quick search. When you installed the boost controller did you disconnect the factory solenoid? If so that will throw the code. So just plug it back in if you did.

OK Dylan, Trip has your ROM I have elimnated boost cut for you and advanced igintion timing alittle, but didn't mess with the fuel map due to no wideband, but now you should have alittle more kick in the pants, if you can log some pulls then we can better adjust it for you and the car.
