We had to cancel last one due to weather so time to turn the heat up again again. We are seeing some baller meets out of Atlanta, they are fun, but what fun is to have hot cars together, and not be able to seem them in action ;). HIN's gone, NOPI is dead, and we all know about Motorsport Nationals so what are we left with :thinking: lol ? A drive to next state. Why not have one of our own, and let them come to us :D? Little effort = lots of fun.

Show not only caters some of the hottest rides in Atlanta whether they are imports, domestics, exotics or bikes, but will also cater our need for speed, and lust for Horsepower. Lots of hard work put behind this and only y'all can make it work :goodjob:. I'll cut this short check www.SpeedandMischief.com for more info.

Event plan for the weekend:
Atlanta Dragway, Dyno Day, Car Show, Bike Stunt Show, Meet, Raffles, Music and lot more fun.

Dates: June 20th, 2009 (Saturday) and June 21st, 2009 (Sunday).

-Address:

-Fee: $30 for Car and Driver (Pre-Registration), $10 Spectator
-Time: Track will open at 11:00AM for Tech Inspections, and first car will roll on the strip at 12:00PM and last one rolls off at 8:00PM.
-Greedy 4 Payouts- Highest trap speed, quickest down the track, quickest reaction time, and quickest 60ft. You think you got what it take to take all 4?

-June 21st Location: Beyond OEM Performance- -Dyno Day, Car show, Bike Stunt show, Music, Raffle, and lot more.

$35 for 3 Dyno Pulls
$25 for Car show (pre-registration).

-Payouts: Cash Prize to Highest HP of the day, other Top 4 Hp and Forum with Highest HP (all cars from that forum added all together) gets a discounted dyno day at next dyno day event.

-Package Prices: Email info@SpeedandMischief.com and tell me what you will like to enter in like Dyno and Atlanta Dragway or Dyno and Car show. Pre-registration prices will be lower than gate prices. Last day to pre-register will be June 5th, 2009.

Track opens at 11:00am and closes at 8:00pm, try to come out to both if u can.

Damn too bad I can't make it, I have to work on Sundays. I would really like to see what my car can do on the dyno.

it starts at 10am to about 6pm...swing by before or after you can. Come to the strip on sat ;).

what kind of dyno does orton have?? also do they do the dyno pull for you, or is it still dyno yourself?

Sounds like a blast! This one happens to fall on the same sate as the Redline Time Attack Event which I will be attending in Joliet, IL (just outside of Chicago) I can attend pretty much any event which doesnt fall on a track day that I have plans to attend :) Take lots of pics!

Ya, I'm excited as well. Same power, 2k faster spool, 500 lbs less, and full aero should be fun. Most of this year will be testing on various setups, etc. Not expecting to place exceptionally well, but should be fun nonetheless.

I definitely have to work sunday, no way out of it. I am trying to switch with someone for saturday. I always have a crappy work schedule.

Dang that sucks, Sundays looking very good and Saturday is gonna be insane so if you make it either one you'll be happy. I'll be at the Gate of the track on Saturday. So see you there.

I'm considering going on Sunday to get a baseline dyno done. But the car has under 200mi on it, and is still in the 'break in period' according to the manual =/ Any risk of harm? Keep in mind 90 of those miles came from dealer testdrives/joyrides, and by the corner tire wear, it's been over 5k rpm before it was mine ;)

If not, how often do these happen?

should be fine (been there done that, and still have the car runs butter smooth), but i'll let members answer. Drive it another 100 before sunday.

drive it how it was meant to be driven man. thats what i did with mine nothing hardcore but ya know, come up this way if just out and driving :)

x2 i been beating on suby and my dd 02 accord. By 1k miles on the suby i had new turbo, full catless turbo back exhaust, new fuel pump, new injectors, new intake, front mount, new engine management, and other things lol. This thing is still running like a champ.

Come up to Commerce Dragway to spectate tomorrow if you just feel like driving.

Edit: For sunday make sure you take the plastic front undertray off. They'll need that off to hook the dyno straps on it.
