Dunno which to choose...

I was trying to decide today what I wanted to do with the interior. I was trying to decide between putting the 3guage pods where the radio/cd player is and relocate the cd player down below, or go with the orbital setup with the dvd screen. If I do the orbital setup I dont know where I will put the guages. I think my boost guage is a little too big to put on the steering column, too big for my taste anyways. What do you guys think I should do?

i like the 3 gauge setup but the orbital looks good to, does the orbital do like the skyline and tell u info on boost, temp, and lateral g's lol

lol i doubt it, that would be sweet though. Im pretty sure it doesnt though. My only concern would be the placement on the guages, I have no idea where I would put them.

Nice, either one of them will look sick Ryan. Thank god I dont have that problem, the STi has too many places for the gauges. lol.

There is acutally a kit that places the gauges on the top of the dash above the radio. If you've seen a supercharged cobra its like that. Id go that route or with the radio relocation. I loved the orbital kit for the nav unit that that guy had with the black Evo IX at the install day, but you can get a flip out that does the same thing.

Personally I wouldn't do the screen. I think it's a little too much bling for such a performance car. I really am a fan of the triple gauge pod/radio relocate setup. It seems very functional that way. The gauges are in your general field of vision that way.

thanks for all the feedback guys. I like both setups aswell. Once it is all said and done I plan to enter my car in a few car shows so I dont mind the bling. However, I am still not sure. Tripp, I dont like the guages ontop of the dash, I think it looks out of place. If I went with the orbital kit I would have to do the guages on the pillar or on the steering column. Also, besides the boost guage, what are the other guages that I should get? I know there are like 6 different kinds, but I dont want my car to look like a space ship.

I like the orbital for sure.... im going to do the orbital to my car! and the best place else to put your gauges is this place! real easy to see

I suggest boost, oil pressure, and maybe a wideband(isn't that also known as the egt gauge).

Thanks for showing who made the dashtop pods TBSE. Wasnt sure who it was. Thats what ill do eventually and Brett EGT is Exhaust Gas Temperature. And like Brett said defiently do boost, an AFR gauge/wideband, and oil pressure. EGT and others would be good for later.
