So its currently 1 am here in Reno and about 45 min ago I finished a 4 hour compounding/polishing session. I still have about 4-5 hours to go on top of the 4 hour polishing mentioned above and the hour I did earlier for washing/claying/interior. The car was in really bad shape having not really been touched in over a year, so thats why it's taking so long. It normally only takes me 7-9 hours to do an evo because I've done so damn many, but anyways heres just a teaser shot of my hood which I went ahead and finished to see what the finally result would be and I'm very pleased. I'll have full regular camera pics up tomorrow after shes done :D.

What brand of wax did you use?

I'll be doing a full write up when I get back from the gym, but wax isn't what gives you clarity and depth to paint. Its the prep work like claying, compounding, polishing, etc. To answer your question I use 4 Star Ultimate Paint Protection (its a sealant and protects) and then for ADDED gloss and depth I use Wolfgang Fuzion (normally costs 175 a tub, but I got a STEAL of a deal on it :D)
Shunder, Black is always a bit of a pain in the ass, but a swirl/scratch free black car is its own reward :D

Just goes to show you, like I said before, that the depth and clarity comes from prep.

I'm sure its spotless, but I'm sure I could find something wrong with it ;). One of the things that sucks about being a detailer is you see things most dont... Including your own car... lol
lol Sorry Dragonforce, but it was 90 degrees when I was detailing and I was hot as hell. Not to mention the girl that lives across the street is cute as hell and I'm trying to holler at her :D
