power for now is goin to be low to mid 400s. having a stiff pedal is somethin im not worried about. to be honest i kind of like it better. i was originaly goin to go with the ACT but iv heard both good and bad things about them

What is the main use of the car? Different recommendations for drag, street, track, autocross, etc.

The Exedy twin is a baller clutch man! But I think it's overkill for your application. I personally loved the ACT on my VIII. I WILL by the same clutch when my stocker goes out.

exedy twin is well over 1200, We sell both ACT and exedy. If you're looking to stay below 1200, ACT for sure.

I love my ACT MB7-HDSS. I can't tell a difference in the pedal feel when comparing to OEM.

The clutch itself isn't going to break anything ... it's the torque it transfers that will break something.
For the best street/strip performance and comfort, a twin disc would be ideal. But, they are pricey. You definitely want a sprung disc for the street. A full face disc will engage smoother with less chatter, but a 6-puck will grip a little more and reduce rotational mass.
I've driven the ACT HD, ACT sprung 6-puck, Excedy twin, Spec twin and spec sprung 6-puck. They are all streetable. Honestly, I prefer the sprung 6-puck and the ACT and the Spec felt very similar though the Spec is rated higher.
The ACT HD was heavier than I thought it should be ... like the up the clamping pressure and keep a weaker disc material for smooth engagement. I preferred the sprung 6-puck becasue the pedal felt lighter ... like the opposite of the HD. Less clamping force needed since the disc grips more already.
