The Worst Night..!!!!!!

This has been the worst night of my life with the evo..... I left work in buckhead at 12am to night and I was about to get on 400 and I was goin under the bridge and I got on it to hear my dump tube. Well the intercooler pipping blows off!! I pulled over down the road and looked for the clamp no sign of it anywhere. I put it back on and used a hanger and wedged it to try to hold it I Could only go about 45mph. It prob. blew off about 20 times on the way home in random spots. I cant find any 24 hour walmarts to buy a clamp. I had my GF searching online. It was soooo bad I mad it home finaly at about 2:15 took me like 2 hours and it should have been 40 min!!!!!!!! It was sooo bad! In conclusion buy clamps and keep them handy!!

Or get some good T-bolt clamps! I had this happen twice!! Both on mountain runs!!! Shitty screw clamps!!

+1! I never had this issue with my evo to begin with, but I sure as hell did with my 240sx and tbolts solve everything!

This is why I love my speed density setup. But yes if you're gonna run high boost get T-bolt clamps. Speaking of which, I never found any T-bolt clamps that are the right size for the turbo outlet. Does anyone know where to get some & what size they are for the turbo outlet?

Turbo outlet is just under 2". I haven't tried to find a t-bolt clamp for it though. A 1.75" should work.

It's the only place I dont have T-bolts, but it has only come off once. I've got plans for more boost down the road so I'd like to upgrade if I can find em.
