1...ok i work in buckhead at a pizza shop and they have parking and its in a parking deck/garage witch will be a good place to take some pics its clear on weekends to like saterdays or sunday.... there is a private room that is free and it sitts up to 30 people and we have 3 plasma tvs we can watch college bball and what ever and eat like 25 percent off...ill make the cute waitresses wait on us im the manager there haha...we can meet there and eat and do w.e and take some pics down town and stuff ahh just a idea.......

2.... Lets go to the l'ville. sonic meet with all the other cars on thursday and park sepreat from everyone and bs an dhave a good time it will be nice thursday i think that will be alot of fun people will be goin nutz when they see like 10 20 evos!!! that is thursday that will be funnnnnnnnnnn!!

I think its important to clarify which parking structure we are meeting in. I drove by tonight and there are several on that block. I vote for the one just past Buckhead Pizza. If the restaurant is on your right, the garage will be just past it. If you come from the other direction, obvi the garage is just before the restaurant. Make sense Mario? I wasn't going to say anything because I had a funny feeling that Ryan was kind of goading me with his Rota comment, but fuck it. I wholeheartedly agree with Jon. Unless you are the one that is paying for my parts then it is a personal preference on what I put on my car. I see no reason why a person would spend a stupid amount of money like you would for other rims when they are only being used as a daily driver. If you are autocrossing or some other form of racing that requires a stronger rim then what sense does it make to spend that much? I got the exact look of rims I was looking for while spending a whole lot less money. So again let me reiterate. Unless you are paying for my rims then I don't care what your opinion is of them. If you are stupid enough to pay 3-4 more times than I did for my rims and don't use them for their intended purpose then you need to get some sofa time with a shrink.

On the other hand there have been many cases of Rotas failing on a normal street car daily driven so there is definately a chance it could happen. Obviously it's more prone in extreme circumstances, but none the less it also happens durring normal every day driving.

Great example Dan. My friend Michael bought a set of Rotas for his 350z daily driver. Rota broke, spun out into oncoming traffic and wrecked his car. It was confirmed the Rota was at fault and broke due to POOR quality, nothing else. But you're probably right, they are the same as any other wheel just for 1/4 the price with no drawbacks. :rolleyes: If you think this is a freak incident, go read all of the other hundreds of cases just like this one.

If you look at my parts list , which is JUST the power stuff. i saved that money, plus labor in 4 monthsFor people who can't add, that is over 13k, including shipping the car, etc.. I paid cash. I work hard, damn hard for my shit. In this last two weeks, i have pulled 171+ hours. Can you say that? (This is directed at you, but I am in no way mad). Whether you have a T/A car, or a car will a few bolt ons. I am proud of you, no matter what. It doesnt mean everyone will, but it is a very real possibility. We warn every customer that comes into Forged wanting to do meth of the danger it presents. It has happened thousands of times to cars across the country. I was unfortunate enough to learn the hard way. It sucks, but if someone had told me at the time how dangerous it was going to be, I wouldn't have done it.

Ryan please don't delete your threads. There are many here that enjoy them. I don't think this Rota bashing was meant to dissrespect anyone. However it's hard not to take offence to something negative said about something you own. I myself came clost to buying some Rota P45Rs a while back & decided I'd rather wait & save for the wheels I really want (Advan RGIIs). My decision was based on weigh since back then I didn't have any knowledge of any quality issues. I have & will track my Evo when I can so these are things important to me. There are many things to look at when buying wheels, cost,quality,weight,size,& look. It comes down to what meets your goals. I have no problem saving to buy what I really want in the end versus setling for something that is close. It's beed well over a year since I first looked into getting wheels & have yet to be able to get the Advans I want, but when I do I hope people dont get the impression that I think I'm better than them based on the wheels I have.

When I first came on this site you weren't that way at all, but steadily over the past many months your comments can be interpretted as elitist and comparable to a spoiled child. This kinda scares me. It makes me think that when I post something nice that I have done or aquired that I will be thought of as a show off elitist or spoiled. I only say this cause I have read most of the stuff Ryan has written in the past couple months & I don't get that impression, so if I were to do the same & I will when I get stuff & do stuff then maybe that's what will be thought of me.

I would really enjoy seeing your latest pictures as do I with Ryan's. I love seeing other people's builds. It gives me ideas of something I would do to mine. That includes you too Ryan.

Jon the difference here is I attacked Rotas - a car part while you and Dan decided to attack me as a person. Quite different and result in me being upset on the matter. You dont like my opinion fine, i dont like yours either. Doesnt warrant you attacking me.

Im apparently flaunting what I have, so the way to counteract that is to delete my theads where I am apparently doing so and not bring it up. From here on out ill keep my personal cars to myself. I totally agree with what Andy is saying here. It is very hard to judge tone and sarcasm on the boards. I have been misjudged on other forums and it ain't fun. In any case, Ryan please put your posts back up. I think its fun to watch a friends build. Whether it be yours, Dan's, Andy's, Juan's, Tripp's, whomever. Part of me feels like I am part of that build as well because we all share the same passion for the evo and this is a pretty tight nit community. It saddens me that arguments like these have to happen...

Speaking as the guy who probably knows the least about cars in this forum i find it informative when you guys talk about the pros and cons about parts, with that being said i wanted to let you guys know that it doesn't help the people like me to attack each other. Remember that what attracts people to this forum is the fact that we are a close group that gets along together, if it weren't for this we would be no different than IA.
