They look great! Was it pretty easy to do? It looks like you covered everything around the caliper pretty well to prevent overspray. How many coats did you put on?

Do you think 500 deg is enough? I though about using the engine enamel paint that is rated up to 1200 deg, I think.

That is super cheap! I will be doing it over the summer. How long did it take you to do the whole car?

I think it looks good. Mine are finally starting to peel. I would redo mine in red because it matches my color scheme, but that silver on yours lazyevo looks appropriate.

I can't decide if I want to go with red, black, or metallic gold(like the STi).

That's a tough one. All those colors would look good on a black car. I think it all depends upon what your scheme is going to be. If you want some contrast then red or gold. If you are looking for a more stealth look then black. What color rims do you plan on going with?

I can't decide what color to paint my stockers. I keep going back and forth.

Looks great man! I need to do mine desperately! Now that the guy here in Reno with the lift is back in town I'll probably just borrow his lift and do it when I have the time.

Not to hijack, but I want your guys opinions. My car is an AS VIII like Lazy's and I was thinking of doing my calipers in the same blue as inner lip on my wheels. Not sure how it would look on AS, so if anyone can picture it better than I can please leave your input.

I am AS aswell. while i dont know qhat kinda blue you are talking about. Blue is a complemetory color to silver. in the VW scene you see alot of silvers with blue accents, and engine bays. So I think it will look good, assuming its not a teal like blue! ;)

Project Mu calipers are teal blue ... (EDIT : Actually, an odd green ... sorry)

The color of your caliper doesn't really matter man. It's just an accent. As long as it doesn't clash with something else you are good to go.

In my opinion, I wouldn't color match to anything though. Go neutral with the calipers, or go monochromatic with the rest of the car. So, black/silver calipers with the blue, or black silver car w/ blue calipers. Or, you'll have to go all out on the car so the calipers don't look silly, and then any color would work.

Hey Brett, what color did you decide to go with for your caliper color? I think you should go with red. Mine are starting to peel now. Happy Easter!
