gas leak?

i installed my walbro fuel pump 2 weeks ago before my tune. I noticed that my gas mileage got worst. So i assumed that it was me just boosting more because of the tune =) Apparently, when i was putting gas in the other day, i saw gas leaking a little from my car. I was thinking no wonder my car smelled like fuel all the time. Anybody know why this would be happening? Are my hoses loose?

Yes, likely loose or ruptured line. since the FP is in the tank, it may be pooling up on top and then when it reached capacity it drips down the side. That or the lines are ruptured. I assume that your mileage is still worst after the tune and thats when you noticed the fuel under the car. (your mileage would be worst until you got a tune due to running richer, which the evo already does form the factory)

when i installed my new pump, i thought i had plugged in the 'sender' line completely, but i had not. it leaked as well until i checked it. it clicked for me and i thought it was secure. i checked it again and it went on even more with another 'click' and havent had a problem since. so i would check all connections first and then trouble-shoot elsewhere.

If it's related to the install you should see evidence of a leak if you just pull the cover off under the rear seat.
