Geeze... however you tried to race would be finished before that thing spooled up...

That's why you should go TWIN turbo with one half that size as well :D

Paul Walker will be driving this at the end of Fast & Furious 4...

You might blow the welds on the intake manifold with that turbo.

NASA needs to put that bad boy on the shuttle. They could reach the end of time and back in 2 minutes. :D

I can only assume it's for a train or something ... I don't think trains are boosted though.

that almost looks like a power plant turbo or like a transport ship's turbo.

that think is huge!

TouringBubble

Yeah, a ship would make sense.

Way too big for a ships turbo!! I contacted my father who designs power plants and stuff of that nature. This what he said,"It's a very large end suction centrifugal pump. I've never seen one this big!".

Like a train.

TouringBubble

Nah ... I'll bet a crushed 1G DV would hold boost on that thing just fine ...

Alan, you have an Audi now? Sweet ...

Yeah i got rid of the Evo in Nov. traded it in on F250 i've had the Audi for about 1 year and month or so. It's a '02 2.7T V6 twin turbo and all-wheel drive. It's funny for the last 5 years all the cars parked in my driveway have been boosted and all wheel drive or 4x4.

Chemwarrior

So how does your Audi compare to the Evo?

em1toevo
03-14-2009, 02:05 PM
Well Alan drove the wheels off his Evo, so I imagine that he can give you a very accurate comparison;)

alg626

Well as far as fit and finish Audi blows the Evo away even the X's. But as performance goes well you know the Evo is a Evo. The Audi does 0-60 in 6.5sec's so not bad for 247hp and 4000lbs i guess.

Don't lie Alan, you know you miss it.
