What's a good product to clean up a used s.s. exhaust? I bought a used megan and want to get the muffler and tip shining again.

Its called Metal Gloss. You cant buy it in the stores. You have to order it from www.metalgloss.com. I saw it at the AJC car show last year, but didnt have the money for it, so this year i bought some. I can actually polish my factory IC piping with it. No shit... actually polish it. If your looking for something now use mothers metal polish paste. It works great, but the Metal Gloss will get it looking like new.

I will definitely look into getting some of that metal gloss. For now, I will just get some Mothers. I want to get it done before this weekend.

I understand. Just to let you know how good this stuff is it can polish the bottom of a coke can and keep it polished for weeks. Thats if you use the sealent stuff after the polish.

i have this stuff called TNT. it's one of the strongest cleaners i've ever used. back when i had my 240 the rear bumper had exhaust gunk just above the exhaust tip and TNT took it right off were as soap and everything else i used wouldn't. i use it also to clean up everything under my car too. simple spray on and wipe off. i can bring it with me next time we have a meet or install day.
